WIP... Thursday
I am really tired tonight, but I realized I forgot about WIP Wednesday again so here is the beginning of another Garashir fic. (Also, it's been a while since my last post, and I don't want to drop my newfound blogging habit again!)

It was mid-afternoon when Chief O'Brien strode into Garak's shop, grim-faced and out of breath, and said, "Garak, I'm going to have to ask you to kill Dr. Zimmerman."
Garak's embroidery needle sank into his finger. The tip wasn't as sharp as a regular sewing needle, but it still hurt, and he yanked his hand away with a hissed breath.
"Good afternoon to you too, Chief," he said and studied his finger. The skin was intact, which was a relief. Getting blood on his embroidery commission would have been most annoying.
The esteemed Lady Nuveesa was capricious enough even without a Cardassian bloodstain on her prized cloak. She'd asked for a detailed embroidery of the open wormhole. As she would be returning to her courtiers on Bolarus IX soon, Garak had been embroidering as quickly as he dared while still maintaining quality.
"I can pay you," O'Brien said. He looked harried and pale. His eyes were bright and manic with stress. "I just want him gone."
"Wouldn't you rather I sew some darts into your shirt?" Garak offered. "It would improve the fit."
O'Brien shook his head once, a quick twitch. "I'll dip into our savings, explain it all to Keiko later." He stared hard at Garak, grim and unsmiling. "It has to be soon though. Really soon."
Garak sighed. "I suppose I cannot interest you in a new, more flattering pair of pants."

First off, a detailed embroidery of the open wormwhole? *Shivers* Poor Garak!
But most importantly, ahhhhh, you go, Miles!!! Honestly, it's astonishing no one paid a professional assassin to eliminate Zimmerman before this. The man if quite enfuriating.
I love how Garak, not knowing the reason behind the request, keeps trying the plain, simple tailor routine. I'm so looking forward (as always, without any pressure at all <3) to seeing his reaction once he finds out! <3 <3 <3 And how everything else develops with him actually being in the damn episode, ahhhh!!!
