I don't think I ever thought about this ship until I saw your fantastic fanart! But your fanart is so nice that it's won me over, haha. You wouldn't happen to have any fic recs lying around, would you...? :o

LOL! Oh, God, do I. Narrow it down for me. Do you like cute and fluffy AUs? Do you like smut? Do you like angst and drama? Closer to canon AUs? Which era, TPM or TCW or Rebels? I can totally give you any or all of those, rec wise, and not even touching on my own stuff. (Though I'll probably rec that, too, because if you like clones and like Obi/Maul, Witness me is a major timekiller.)

*thinking emoji* I like fluff, but what I like most is angst and drama with a happy ending! I'm a suckered for hurt/comfort too, it's probably my favorite trope in the universe, haha. I also like canon fic with possible canon divergences! Hmm, I'd say TPM era... and wow, Witness Me is insanely long! I think I'm definitely gonna have to check that out. :D

Witness me definitely has literally all of those things; near-canon divergence. Fluff, angst, h/c (and how, sometimes), you name it. LOL! It's got everything, plus eventually the Blackbirds, who I love ridiculous amounts. XD And their perpetually-learning Lieutenant. It's certainly the kind of relationship I was thinking of when I drew those pictures, anyway, though I haven't defined any universe for those (yet).

For TMP AUs (most ObiMaul is necessarily so, though these are all very canon flavored):

The Lost & The Forgotten, by shadowmaat: https://archiveofourown.org/works/16731900 - Qui-Gon gets Anakin but leaves Obi behind in his place; in the meantime, Maul failed one too many times to kill Jedi. It's a short little piece, but I love it.

Breaking the Chains, Forging the Links by Sereq_ieh_Dashret: https://archiveofourown.org/works/6677377 - The author's ESL and the story could use a beta and editor, but it's good for about five tons of whump and h/c and some fluff and a steadily moving plot. Unfinished as yet, but certainly worth a look, and it seems to be aiming for a happy ending.

Imprisoned by DarthOmicron: https://archiveofourown.org/works/6084411 - A more antogonistic look at one way things coulda gone if Maul had been captured rather than killed at Theed. As a bonus, it's finished, too! The ending being-- optimistic, in a way, I think.

Those are a few. XD There's a rec on all_maul already for Knight Moves by JayKay, too, which was written literally back towards the very beginning in terms of Maul.

OMG. It sounds awesome--I definitely need to check it out (and will absolutely let you know what I think!). Thank you so much for all the other recs too! I'm glad to have something to read over the holidays to take my mind off the more stressful aspects of Christmas! :)

I've seen fics about them, but I just never really got into them, you know? They're both great characters, don't get me wrong, but I think ultimately I just don't enjoy reading about them enough to have any strong shipping preferences. ^^; Ahh, I hope that doesn't sound too terrible.

I think they're a good fit! I remember I was a little taken aback when they got together in the books but ultimately I like them together. I always worry a bit about Harry feeling left out though (...OT3, anyone?).

I'm sorry! :'D I think I'm too deep in Corvomine hell to really, truly ship Corvo with anyone else. I am totally a "ship and let ship" kind of person though, and so long as Corvosider makes people happy, I'm happy that it exists! Also, I've seen some beautiful, beautiful fanart of them ~~fucking on an Outsider shrine~~. :D

Awwww hell yeah! Corvo and Jessamine are a phenomenal love story (and ask anyone, I literally just burst into tears over them at the drop of a hat). I'm a multishipper SO. I love Jessamine herself, I need to write a fic centered on her. *thinking*

OMG, SAME. One time when I was trying to replay the game I literally stood in front of Jessamine for 5 minutes, pretending I didn't have any news, just to be able to look at her a bit longer, and had to dry my face on my sleeve. /o\ I love her so much.
