Update meme

I can't remember whom I stole this from--please let me know if you recognize your meme format, I want to give credit when credit is due!

Watching: the Winter Olympics! I used to bond with my father over our shared love of winter sports, and I think it'll be nice to remember him--and the better parts of our often fraught relationship--over the next few weeks. I'm especially looking forward to all the skiing. If I cannot travel to Sweden for skiing adventures with my godmother I have to live vicariously through the Olympians.

Reading: A Stitch in Time by Andrew Robinson, a novel he wrote from Garak's POV. No spoilers, but so far I'm in love with this book even as it stresses me the fuck out, because Garak gets stressed the fuck out. Reading about his life makes my heart ache. I WANT HIM TO HAVE NICE THINGS, goddamn it.

Listening: Blood in the Cut by K.Flay

Playing: --

Making: lining for a circle skirt I made in 2015 & had to partially disassemble because my ass has outgrown its dimensions. I'm still at the cutting-out-fabric stage, and since I possess no sewing skills worth mentioning, I expect assembling it & sewing it to the outer layer will be quite a hassle.

Feeling: a little meh, honestly; my mood took a hormone-induced nosedive this past week. I'm slowly picking myself back up off the proverbial ground though. Tonight, I am mostly feeling hopeful that the upcoming week will be better!

Planning: some general life improvement shit, like finally buying my very own fridge! (Eeek. That feels so... adult. I've never bought a fridge before.)

Loving: a pacifist YouTube walkthrough of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, one of my favorite games ever. It's still so good. I'll probably replay it soon as well. I sense a tidal wave of Adam Jensen feels approaching from that part of my brain that never stops thinking about Deus Ex. :D

comments
