Boba Fett
We finished watching The Book of Boba Fett. Such a good show! I didn't enjoy all parts of it as thoroughly as I did The Mandalorian, but that's an incredibly high bar to reach, so I'm altogether not disappointed. I really liked how many familiar characters showed up. I am also deeply in love with Drash and would let her step on me any time.
GROOOGUUU. T_T;;; omg. He used the Force to hug Din. I can't, you guys. I just can't.
I'm so happy that Fennec Shand was such a prominent character! I was a little worried she'd be relegated to the sidelines, but no, she became an important element of the show. She also passed the Bechdel test, I guess, since she talked to Drash that one time. Also, her braids were on point. I would have liked to see even more of her. Maybe she'll get her own spin-off show some day! /wishful thinking
The one narrative choice I massively disagree with is Luke's stance on attachments. It was all I could do not to shout 'BITCH, THE FUCK?' at the screen. I get that it's been ~9 years since RotJ, and Luke could have learned some stuff about traditional Jedi training in the meantime, and Yoda wasn't big on emotional bonds either. But it was literally Luke's love for his father, and his desire to rescue him from the clutches of the Dark Side, that saved the galaxy. I just really don't think that Luke would subscribe to the view that attachment = bad. Imo that's just shoddy characterization for the sake of delaying Din & Grogu's reunion. :/
I'm 100% sure the blue-skinned main villain would have been much more impressive and threatening if I'd known who he was, lol. I'm going to have to browse Wikipedia for information. xD
Someone I loved a lot (somewhat unexpectedly) was Black Krrsantan. His design was so badass. The gray streaks in his hair, the braids, those extremely massive thighs--YAAASSSS.I lowkey ship him with Boba. A little bit. Oops.
